As with many, our winemaking career began in the kitchen of our Littlerock home with a 2004 Syrah from wine grapes we planted in 2001.. After receiving numerous awards as home winemakers and repeated requests from family and friends for more wine, we decided to venture out and make plans for a commercial vineyard and winery. In 2006 we purchased our 5 acre estate in Littlerock, started planting the vineyard and in 2012 Golden Star Vineyards was established as a commercial bonded winery.
Having our feet planted firmly in the dirt, it only made sense to have farming be an integral part of the wine making process and has enabled us to have a greater insight into our wines. We hope you will enjoy what we have to offer. Cheers!
